Information Collection – What, When and How:
KPI collects information from you when you register and create an account with us, when you request copies of our publications, seek information on our services, enquire about employment opportunities, participate in surveys, register for conferences/ seminars or other events conducted or managed or sponsored by KPI. The personally-identifiable information collected may consist of information that you provide, such as your name, mailing address, e-mail address, telephone number, and fax number. When you reach out to KPI for employment purposes, the information collected may include any other personally-identifiable information that you include on your resume. In addition, KPI collects certain information that you do not visibly enter, such as your IP address, browsing pattern on the Site, click stream data, HTTP protocol elements, and the status of cookies placed on your computer by KPI.
Any personal information that KPI collects from you or you provide to KPI will be used to inform and update you about KPI’s services, offerings, news and other events that may be of interest to you. We will not share(and shall take reasonable steps to prevent the unauthorized or accidental disclosure of) such informationwith other parties except those who perform services on our behalf and have a need for such information. In addition, we may disclose such information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (1) comply with law or comply with legal process served upon us or our agents, representatives and affiliates, (2) protect and defend our rights or property or those of our users or (3) protect the personal safety of our users or the public.
If you chose to submit an employment application to us online through our Site, the information you submit becomes the property of KPI and may be used for any and all purposes ordinarily associated with processing an employment application, as well as for marketing and promotional purposes.
If you participate in a survey, all of our research results are reported as totals or in other aggregated form, and no information about you as an individual respondent is made public.
Cross Border Transfer of Information
KPI aims to be a global organization with offices in different parts of the world. In the process of achieving that, we may shift the location of our servers, offices etc. leading to hosting of this site from a different part of the world. In such cases, your information may be transmitted across political borders. By using out Site and submitting your information on our Site, you voluntarily agree to such international transfer and /or hosting of information.
Although KPI has put in place reasonable technological and operational security processes to protect unauthorized access of your personal data, KPI cannot guarantee that your information will not become accessible to unauthorized persons. Any KPI employee, associate or agent having access to your information is obligated to maintain its confidentiality.
This Site is not directed at children 18 years of age or younger. KPI, therefore, will not intentionally collect information about anyone under the age of 18, and requests that no such information be submitted to us.
